"Add to Queue" and "Play next" available via Chromecast

Is there an option to play next while I'm casting through Chromecast? While listening to an album I had the urge to listen to another track. I wanted to add this to my queue so I could continue to listen the album after I listened to this random track. This seems to be an option that is available when I'm just listening on my iPhone, but once I start casting I can no longer add tracks to my queue to play next. What am I don't wrong? Thanks.

    Okay Deezer, what has happened to your once good app?

    I’ve returned to Deezer after about a year away trying other HiFi music streaming services.  I think Deezer has the best catalogue, so I want to use Deezer but you’re preventing me from signing up because of your broken app.

    My HiFi setup consists of a Cambidge CXN v2 with Chromecast built in, Andriod mobile and I’m streaming from the Deezer app to Chromecast.  Whenever I do this 2 of the most fundamental controls for anyone serious about music vanish, those being Play Next and Add to Queue.

    Why are such fundamental options missing?  Less used options like “See song credits”, “Launch Track Mix” and “Don’t recommend this track” these work but no “Play Next” or “Add to Queue”???

    Please let us know when the basic controls work again so I can give Dezzer another try.

     

    I really am speachless that such basics are missing.

    This, and gapless playback, are the most annoying missing features of Deezer. Not being able to add music to a queue while casting is plain irritating when you have friends over.

     

    I have talked friends out of joining Deezer for this reason.

    It’s not just irritating without these features you can hardly say Deezer is Chromecast compatible.  It’s like a camera without a shutter, a computer without a screen, a phone that doesn’t make calls.  These are fundamental features any music app must have.

    Deezer has a HiFi option so presumably they know users will be using their service to stream music to HiFi equipment and probably one of the most common methods is via Chromecast.  It’s been over 12 months and this feature is still missing, it is appalling, it really should be the highest priority for the development of the app.  Deezer are shooting themselves in the foot.

      We're working on a new cast integration, which should include more options, including the features you mentioned - so all we need is a bit more of your patience until we finish it :thumbsup_tone2:

              Well, more than a year ago we were told that they were already working on it. Since it’s still not working I’d guess that “never” is the best answer for now.

              We've been working on it, properly, from last year - for large months and we're still on it. Some of the required mechanisms have already been added to our mobile apps. But it requires more development. Thank you for your understanding :pray_tone2:
