@Leonídia.Deezer , can you remove the ‘not for now’ tag? It’s been over 5 years now, so 2023 might be the year to tackle this issue ... which should have been fixed in 2021 already.

I have no f*cking clue. Especially since the rebrand to a more social platform you should think that you could add tracks to a queue when your at a party of something.

Exactly like all the others comment, I’m desperate about Deezer and its lack of responsiveness. How do they want to attract new people from other plateforms with a proper queue system if they don’t add one themselves? 

I’ve been using Deezer for years, I’ve put up with the millions of bug this app contains and do not plan on changing because the song base I built is too big. But this specific queue issue is annoying me every single day.

And the only given answer is “This is a intended feature”.

So I beg you once again, can you please allow users to add songs to the queue whenever they want?

How about now, is it finally on the list for 2025 ​@Jaime.Deezer ? It’s been an major issue since 2018 already ...


I opened this and saw it was already a problem 6 years ago and i got very hopeful there was a solution. But i guess not unfortunately. I agree with others, this should be added. Damn it starts to get hard trying to defend deezer and convincing my gf that deezer is just as nice as other streaming platforms..

And now, ​@Jaime.Deezer ? Another year has passed without the possibility to add songs to a queue when you’re casting. This is a lack of basic functionality which really cripples all Chromecast users’ experience.


I can’t understand how a function as basic as ‘Play Next’ for Chromecast users isn’t being prioritised. I’ve been a Deezer user for a few years now but the fact that this isn’t being developed is a serious reason to look elsewhere.

Came to the forum to have a look at a few of these odd “features” or rather the lack of them.

Regarding this issue though, it looks like you can keep the option of Add to Queue by just using the phone to stream to the Chromecast instead of the (altogether pretty wonky) app. 

Can be annoying when you share to a display, since you'll mirror your screen I guess. But connected to the stereo this works okay.

But coming from Spotify (and probably returning) the queue management of Deezy is crazy bad. Sorry to say.

Yes, but you will cast all sounds coming from your phone, including notifications. It’s also prone for dropouts and stutter.

Let’s keep it at “crazy bad”, which is a really good summary for this issue.

Wrong: I’ve created a support issue and either they are lying to me, or it’s back on the roadmap:

As I mentioned earlier, the issue is already with our technical team for further review. I’ll get back to you as soon as it has been worked on and there’s an update available.

Let’s keep spamming Deezer to finally make them implement such a basic feature.

This has been an issue for 7 years?! That's absurd. I'm testing to consider a switch from Spotify, but seeing such a basic function ignored for SEVEN YEARS makes me wonder how much support and innovation this app can have.

I’d stay away from Deezer if I were you. We have a family subscription, so I’m not able to cancel that easily.
