New Flow moods are better than the previews ones, but I think a perfect solution would be to just be choose a song to tell Flow what I’d like to hear next.
Let me explain.
For example, I booted up my flow and I’m getting upbeat tracks, but for some reason I’d like to switch to a different mood.
Currently, I’d have to check available moods and choose the one that I think it’s closest to what I’d like - but maybe I don’t know what Flow will choose for me for a determined mood, or maybe I myself am not sure about what exactly I’d like to hear.
It would be awesome if I could just “change lane” following a song, and not just selecting a predetermined category. I press the Change mood button and I’m just presented with 2 or 3 choices: one sad song, one ambient song, one rock song, whatever. These could be even done in a way as simple as just generating the first song that I’d get if I chose one of the current moods. For example, if I’m on the Motivation side of the spectrum and I ask to change mood, Flow could choose one song from Meditation, one from Party and one from You & me, or something like that - this should even be relatively easy to implement at this point. I see the songs, and I choose which one I feel like listening to the most. Subsequent songs will just follow the selected mood as always, until I decide to “change lane” again.
In this way, there is no way I’m being disappointed by the new mood Flow suggests me, and I get the chance to engage more with the making of the playlist in the most intuitive way.
