Summary of our year / statistics

Spotify do a cool thing at the end of the year where they email customers a summary of genres they’ve listened to, the most listened to song, how many minutes they spent listening to music and so on.

I think it would be very cool if Deezer did the same thing and add more to it, I.e if they threw together a playlist of your most listened to songs in descending order?
I so agree! All my colleagues yesterday got their overview and I was feeling kind of jealous. I'm not sure if Deezer has this kind of big data available but I can't believe you guys don't. So let's make that happen!
my friends with spotify have got end of year summaries of what music they've been listening to/how long for/genres/ how many songs etc - this would be really interesting to see at the end of a year
The Stateeztics app / addon will do this for you. In addition to monthly usage summaries they also send a link at the end of the year summarizing your usage. Just go to the app page and load it.

Hi @Bovius, we can't provide this information but for the future I suggest you check our app Stateeztics which you can find under apps in the Deezer app. It tells you how many hours you listen to Deezer in a month 🙂
If you have scrobbled your Deezer listening history to Last.fm, you can check Last.week and Last.year there offering this information besides other statistical data.

You're welcome. Last.year 2017 will be released in Jan 2018, by the way. Furthermore you can choose a custom date range in your library at any time, e.g. from Jan 1st to Dec 31st, 2017 to check your Top artists, albums and tracks for that specific period of time. Your Top Tracks 2017 (or any other year) can then be directly played with Spotify or YouTube depending on your playback choice.
so last year we got a list of top 15 most played tracks and im wondering if we are going to have it this year too and also would love to have a little bit more detailed statistics like total time of listening and your top artists and geners etc
Yeah, that'll be great! Something to track and analysis the music you've been listen to, in a ''general'' way. Spotify users have the ''spotifyme'' to check that.

As a workaround in the meantime you can check our in- app Stateeztics which gives you data about what you have listened to 😉
if deezer had Last.FM scrobbing feature, that is the easiest as all those statistics can come from last.fm. it's actually really cool.
Wondering if at the end of each year, the music you listen to has been analysed to create the yearly top 5 artists and tracks you listen to, I know Spotify does this and I wanted to know if Deezer also does?
As much as I can tell Deezer doesn't have such feature but Deezer offer an external service which collect statistics on your listening habits . You can check it below :

Maybe you should add a little side page on the profile, so you can see, what you favorite song over the year is/has been. And the same with how many minutes you've listenned to deezer?
Scrobbling your Deezer listening to Last.fm would enable showing you a yearly overview besides weekly overviews and other statistics. "Last.year" for 2018 will come out in early January 2019:

This would be a really nice feature! Please consider adding this.
The ability to look back on the year and how much time you have spent listening to music would be awesome. Just like Spotify 2018 Wrapped and Pandora Your 2018. P.S I want to get this out early 2019 so it can be available at the end of the year.
Stateeztics needs more information like time spent listening to music, top favorite bands/artists/albums/singles/songs, decade of song release spent most time listening to, etc.

Deezer already has an internal scrobbling option which you can enable on the Alerts & Sharing tab in their web player:

Sometimes this does not work, but usually it gets fixed by Deezer, and your old scrobbles during the timeout might even get added as well afterwards. At the moment it works fine, e.g. I am scrobbling with the new desktop app, as this internal solution connects both accounts via API, so it works in all Deezer apps.



If you use Deezer's web player, there is another option with the browser extension Last.fm web scrobbler available for Chrome, Opera and Firefox.
