why doesn't deezer connect work?

Welp… I thought I was doing something wrong until I found this thread.  I have the exact same setup as the OP and I couldn’t figure out why Deezer Connect wasn’t working.

Seems weird that Deezer would roll out this feature when it doesn’t actually work.

Spotify seems to work flawlessly when it comes to remotely connecting.  If I’m playing Spotify on any device and I open it up on another, it immediately asks me if I’d like to control the original device.  Full music selection is available, skip, pause, volume control.  It works perfectly.

Deezer needs to figure this out.

After 1 year, the situation is the same. You are not a serious company, only pricing is at the highest level.

Definitely still a hit or miss with Connect, hope they introduce some fixes this year to the feature.
