Hi :)

I'm trying to switch over from Spotify, because Spotify's discover feature is not working well for me.

I'd like to be introduced to new music, but in a general way not by tapping into a certain artist and the playlist being based off them. Is that possible in deezer?

Hey @Dave55d

Check out these articles. I think this fits your question:

Hi, I appreciate this, though I am still not sure how to access the feature I am trying to access (discover weekly type feature in Deezer). Would be great if you can expand on that - I have added a screenshot here so you can see, it seems like at the top of the screen the app wants me to select my favorite artists, but when I tap on an artist the app goes into that artist into a kind of artist-based radio, which is not what I am looking for.

What I am looking for is a discovery engine that works like Discover Weekly in spotify. Would you know how to access that from this screen? Thanks!

The individual playlists appear below the subheading 'Made for you'.
For this you have to like at least 15 artists. More artists in the favorites are of course much better. As soon as you have at least 15 artists in your favorites, you unlock the flow with different moods.

Actually, if you click on the button 'Add artists', you should come to an overview where various artists are already displayed that you can like.

If that doesn't work, you can search for different artists and simply like them on the artist page (= click on the heart symbol).

You will then notice various changes in your music page. First of all the daily lists and the flow. A little later you will get “Monday discoveries”, “Friday releases” and “Sunday chill”.
