Thank you @georgemilojevic for your feedback,
it is only a very small handful of users that still experiences this issue and we are still working on it to improve the experience.
Well, I must be one of the few who still have this problem as well... One year after this post. Have there been improvements to the algorithm since then?
Hi @Mike Kuhn some of these songs have been moved to the Xmas list, however, there can always be some kind of leak of these holiday songs into other playlists or Flow.
Apologies for the inconvenience, and if you are still experiencing the problem, please provide as much detail as possible and share those songs here too and I’ll inform our music team.
Thanks
I'm still experiencing this issue. In Deezer flow whenever I click on focus, it plays Christmas Jazz. Which is great at Christmas but really terrible in April. Can you fix this with some urgency please, we're paying for this.
It's 28th April 2024 and flow has played over 20 Christmas songs today, with a run of 6 in a row. I like Christmas songs as much as the next person, just not at the end of April. I don't want to mark each song as "do not recommend this track", as I would quite enjoy them if it was December. Why has this issue started today? It wasn't doing this yesterday. I've experienced this problem in the past but not for several years. I'm a long time subscriber to the service (over 10 years). I thought that this issue was a thing of the past.
Perhaps @Jaime. can share this Deezer’s Music Team?
This happens to me when I shuffle my music, because I created my own personal playlist with the Christmas music I like, but I can not figure out a way to prevent it from being included for the rest of the year at the moment.

Just delete it.
You can reactivate the playlist before next Christmas with one click here:

The last 50 deleted playlists from the past 30 days does not really sound like a viable solution to me...
The last 50 deleted playlists from the past 30 days
The real numbers are much higher. I can say from a reliable source (me) that I was still able to restore playlists even after years. Well over 50 playlists were listed for me.
I will give this workaround a try and hope for the best! Thank you
Hi @Marcormark, If you don't want to delete your playlists, just get in touch with our support team.
They'll pass your information along to our tech team to look into the issue further.
I have already deleted them, but maybe I'm going to get in touch with your support team anyway.
This has just started happening for me.
Deezer has never pushed Christina’s songs into my flow out of season (in several years of being a subscriber), but for the last month or so it’s been pushing an infuriating number.
I gave up listening to my flow this afternoon once every second song became a Christmas jingle from artists who couldn’t possibly be derived from my likes, favs, playlists, artists, albums etc.
Deezer: there’s something wrong with your AI (again) - please fix, pretty please.

It is happening to me too for a couple of days now. Chill flow was recommending the perfect chill songs for playing Cities:Skylines in one morning, but after I restarted my PC it could not stop playing Christmas songs, and does so ever since.
I tried hitting do not recommend on every holyday song, but it seems like it reinforces the algorythm instead, and there are more Christmas songs than clicks my mouse is rated for.
Hi @tim_pelling @Varga Gyula, thank you for sharing your experience with us.
The information you provided has already been shared with our team, and they are aware of the issue. They are actively working on a fix.
Please stay tuned for the next update.
It's the18th June 2024, about as far away from Christmas as it's possible to be and Flow has just decided that I need to listen to some nice Christmas tunes, why? I was having this problem on the 28th April 2024 (see my earlier post above). It carried on for a few weeks but then seemed to resolve itself, until today. Six of the last ten tracks Flow has played have been Christmas songs.
Hi @Chris Ingram, I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused.
