How do I enable explicit filter on Alexa?

I have explicit filter turned on in the Deezer app on my android phone but whenever I ask Alexa to play a particular artist and song, it plays the explicit version, even though there is a radio edit available.

If I search for the same song in the app, the only version that comes up is the edited version.

How can I make sure that my Alexa does not play explicit songs please?

I have already enabled explicit filter on the Deezer app and in the Alexa app settings. Neither seems to make a difference.

Thanks.

What happens if you provide Alexa with the exact parse ? i.e “Alexa , play xxx clean version/radio edit”

Thanks Noam, I appreciate your reply but that was one of the first things I tried and it doesn't make a difference.

I have actually found a work around myself now anyway. I made a child profile and linked that to my Alexa. By default, explicit songs are disabled on child profiles and this is actually honoured by Alexa.

The only problem is that you can't create playlists on a child profile because the only songs that the Deezer app shows are lullabies etc. Even though Alexa will play the radio edit of any song you ask for when logged in to the very same child profile 🙄
