Disable "Your computer seems to be offline" message when blocking *.braze.com

Deezer on desktop shows a “Your computer seems to be offline” message every few minutes consistently. It makes requests to “sdk.iad-01.braze.com“ at the same time. Functionality for the user is not impacted but I still get this annoying message every time. I don’t want to allow whatever metrics you’re tracking and Deezer isn’t offline. Stop showing me this.

Hi @Shadowan, thanks for your reply and apologies for my late answer.

I just shared with the team your feedback.

Hope they can answer me soon so I can return to.

Have a great week.

Hi @Etuldan, I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue.

Could you please try changing the music quality in the desktop app to match the one you downloaded?

Let me know if this helps.

Bruh ?

It’s not about music quality, or about downloading or not.

Music flow is OK, we got this annoying popup when we block 3rd party unwanted tracking services.
And we ask WHY there is tracking on Deezer, w/o being able to disabling it in the App. (and we know there is tracking because of the popup message)

But as it’s seems an old issue on Deezer side, with no customer care about it since 8 months, I highly doubt it will be fixed. The good news here (for my point of view), is that I see this issue while I’m on my free 2 months trial.

I subscribed for 1 year thinking a tracking whitout possibility to opt-out, and even hidden after you try to opt-out of every tracking inside the app settings, would not be allowed in Europe with GDPR data protection law and simply a bug in the code that would be fixed promptly, but it seems I am mistaken as this simple tracker is still enabled. So this appears to not be a bug but a voluntary hidden tracker inside the app.

Sad, as some little other bugs may be annoying but I can live with them, but this tracking here it is another game.

Please log in to your Deezer account on a PC or Mac, and click on the following link to access your Account Settings : dzr.fm/account.
In the My Information tab, you can modify your Privacy Settings (cookie and tracking technology policy).
In the Notification Preferences tab, you can decide on your communication preferences (the automated notifications and emails you receive from Deezer).

Bruh x2 ????

Already all tracking/spying feature are disable on my Deezer account.
But the app still continue to send tracking requests to at least rec.deezer.com and sdk.iad-01.braze.com domains.

And what is the issue about my name & phone number ? We are talking here about the App, not the account.

The issue of this topic is that, with ALL tracking disabled in the privacy settings, and as reminded by Etuldan, the app STILL send tracking data to some companies like Blaze for example.

And, we asked since monthes to, at least, if you want to keep these hidden trackers, don't show a popup annoying us with a message telling that there is a network issue when you can’t resolve these adresses in DNS.

People shouldn't have to rely on community answers to help them with this issue since so many time.

Also, Deezer may not use Braze services to get tracking of our usage of the app, but do you have a contract with Braze that can make you safe to tell us that they are not using this data for tracking purpose for themselves or other company?

I’m getting this on the desktop version of deezer as well. It is quite annoying to keep seeing it, would hope that the team would find a solution to have it muted for the end user.

I’m currently in the free testing month for Deezer.
Came here having severe quality issues (crackling, interrupted streams even at low quality settings)

but reading this, i think I’ll just go ahead and cancel my - admittedly very optimistic - one year subscription..
