autoplay

Hi,

I’m new to Deezer and I am trying to turn off autoplay, like most people I just want to listen to music I choose. I find the autoplay incredibly annoying and I am intelligent enough to search for/find new music without any help.

I have searched both community and support pages. I have found loads of comments complaining about not being able to turn this feature off. However, most of these are years old and don’t answer the question.

So my own question is -is it actually possible to turn autoplay off on mobile, desktop and when casting to Alexa?

Please can anyone give an update on this issue and if it is possible to turn off,  a simple step-by-step guide on how.

Many thanks

As far as I can tell auto play is not even available on mobile , unless you are using a free subscription and you don’t have control on what is playing other than the first song you choose .

On PC or web you should be able to disable it from the playing queue.

Hi Noam,

Thanks for the reply. I’m currently using a free trial, which I think gives access to all features and I did eventually find  a way to turn off autoplay on the desktop. My main problem is when using my iPad, if I play an album, it just repeats  the album rather than stopping. If I choose a playlist, it just adds random tracks at the end. I like to fall asleep listening to music so I’d like a way for Deezer to stop playing at the end of the music I requested. At the moment I have to use a countdown timer on the iPad which stops the music playing after a set time. While it is a solution, it’s very inelegant.
Reading your reply, does it mean I won’t be able to control my music unless I take out a subscription?

All I want is a simple way to play music I already own. I am trying to avoid anything American as my own (albeit small) stand against the USA and it’s politics at the moment.

Hi . Since you mentioned you are on free trail you get the same features as a paying customer .

If the music is repeating after it’s completed make sure the recurrence button is not enabled on the player itself . See below :
