Your artist pages aren’t all structured the same. I’ve noticed this several times and most recently was on Nosaj Thing’s artist page and none of their albums are shown anywhere. You do have their albums on your platform, though. Why are they not shown on the album page like other artists? Please fix this.

The same problem here: The following albums should also appear on this profile page: https://www.deezer.com/us/artist/145647:

Solences entire discography apart from the newest Single releases are missing… there is not a single album on their artist page.

However, I can find these releases via search:

I don’t know how many times it has to be said: If an album is linked to a specific artist then just SHOW it on their goddamn artist page. And if some label marked something as “not important” then stop not showing it at all, at least make it accessible via the artist page somehow. Add a “show all albums unfiltered” button or something. Just SOMETHING.

I’ve missed entire albums of bands and artists that I didn’t even know existed because they are not on the artist page. What’s the point of this? I’m so close to going back to Spotify just because of this crap, even though your recommendation algorithm is a million times better.

@dasfrodo this is happening because some of the albums (more like all of them apart from those 2 singles you provided) are marked as “NON_OFFICIAL”. They will never be visible on the artist’s page unless they are manually marked as “OFFICIAL” by the metadata team.

When you visit any artist’s page, only official albums are visible; non-official ones are hidden. However, there is a solution to bypass it and show “ALL” albums, both official and non-official. The result looks like this:

I think I will make a tutorial on how to achieve it.

@Random007 I know why this is happening, I’ve read the thread. It is still absolutely braindead to not at least give me, as a user, the possibility to just ignore that Metadata and show everything that is associated with the artist. I can CLEARLY see it on the platform, so it’s not hidden. It’s just not visible on the artist page.

Does your solution involve using the web player? Because I don’t use that, I use the Desktop Client. In that case that would be useless to me.

Still thank you, though.

guys, I created a script for the Web Player that restores the "More albums" and "Featured in" sections. You can download it here: ************. I hope you find it useful. Here's an example:

@dasfrodo you can report it from your PC/Mac on the Web and desktop version.
Just click on the 3 dots> report a problem and our music team will look into it.
Thanks and apologies for the inconvenience

I did right after you posted here… it’s still not fixed unfortunately.

I have passed the feedback @dasfrodo since I can’t fix it on my side I am afraid.
It might take time due to a high volume of requests and I would also recommend to report it again in the meantime.
Apologies for the inconvenience

@Jaime.Deezer Hi - was looking for a solution to this problem as well. The band “Soft Play” had all albums listed last week, now the majority are missing. If you search for the albums they show up (19 of them), and it is assigned to the right artist - but does not show up on artist page.

The band used to be called “Slaves” but that redirects to Soft Play, without the albums. There is only one album showing on their page now. How to fix?

Hi @Bogratt99 it should be fixed now, could you please check and let me know?
Thanks

@Jaime.Deezer Much better - thanks!

How is this still a thing? I finally got annoyed enough (after noticing it for several artists) to complain about it in the forums and I see it’s been happening for probably over a year.

What’s the point trying to look for new music by an artist if I can’t trust that Deezer is showing it in the Discography tab, letalone after months?

It’s great that albums are automatically assigned, but you make it impossible to explore an artists potential discography.

Why not expose the un-verified list. I mean the albums are still visible when you manage to find them directly through one of the EPs for example.

I feel like there is a bare-minimum of service you have to provide, and showing an artists full discography whether completely verified or not should be a basic function and the app considered fundamentally broken without this.

I sometimes don’t know what I’m paying for anymore 😣
