Song/Artist/Album isn't on Deezer - What happens if I can't find the music I want?

DEEZER CATALOGUE - something is missing

We're really sorry to know the tracks you love isn't on Deezer. Not all artists and rights' holders choose to add their music on our platform. We always respect their wishes so some music isn't available or might be temporarily removed.

Some of the reasons for this are:

RIGHTS' HOLDERS :microphone:

If an artist has a large discography with different rights' holders controlling different albums you can sometimes find gaps in the catalogue - if a certain rights' holder hasn't yet agreed to allow the music they control to be streamed online.

TERRITORY :globe_with_meridians:

Streaming rights are also defined by territory - country, region, location. The tracks that appear in the search box when you're looking for music are the songs that are available in all territories. In a small number of cases, a user in a different country may not have access to different tracks so an "unavailable in your country" message appears when they try to listen to it.

SO WHAT SHOULD I DO? :weary:

We're constantly updating and re-negotiating our agreements with rights' holders and thousands of tracks are added to our catalogue every single week.

You can try a couple of things:

Add your MP3 collection to Deezer
Contact the artist via their social media channels and request for the tracks/albums to be added to Deezer, we take care of the rest

Hello! I was wondering why the artist Bring Me The Horizon (Their artist page) has the album There Is A Hell Believe Me I’ve Seen It, There Is A Heaven Let’s Keep It A Secret missing

and also, Fall Out Boy (Fall Out Boy’s artist page) has the album Folie A Deux missing? These are both two major artists albums missing from the service :(

Hi! Can't find Kaneko Ayano - Sayonara Anata (Second Edition) EP

It's available on Spotify and Apple Music but missing on Deezer :(

Hey @vita I am sorry that the track is not available yet on Deezer.
It might be for different reasons as you can see in the info above in this page.
You can always upload it as Mp3 to your music library.
I hope it is added to our catalogue soon.

Any plans on add more J-Pop and K-Pop related songs from artists such as MEG’s discography and Guckkasten’s re-recording of their self-titled first album? They’re missing from the Deezer platform, yet are on other platforms such as Spotfiy and YouTube Music. :pray_tone1:

I’ve tried numerous times to message bands on social media to tell them an album’s missing from Deezer and they never reply or apparently care since the albums are still missing.

HI @Rive Gauche I understand. But those bands or artists need to approach Deezer in order to include any missing album.

But, I really miss an album that Ray Charles did called Genius loves Company I keep going in and see if it’s added, is it possible to get it added a I’d be an even bigger fan ( sucking up here!!) regards Sully
