Song/Artist/Album isn't on Deezer - What happens if I can't find the music I want?

DEEZER CATALOGUE - something is missing :mag_right:

We're really sorry to know the tracks you love isn't on Deezer. Not all artists and rights' holders choose to add their music on our platform. We always respect their wishes so some music isn't available or might be temporarily removed. 

Some of the reasons for this are: 

RIGHTS' HOLDERS :microphone:

If an artist has a large discography with different rights' holders controlling different albums you can sometimes find gaps in the catalogue - if a certain rights' holder hasn't yet agreed to allow the music they control to be streamed online.

TERRITORY :globe_with_meridians:

Streaming rights are also defined by territory - country, region, location. The tracks that appear in the search box when you're looking for music are the songs that are available in all territories. In a small number of cases, a user in a different country may not have access to different tracks so an "unavailable in your country" message appears when they try to listen to it. 

SO WHAT SHOULD I DO? :weary:

We're constantly updating and re-negotiating our agreements with rights' holders and thousands of tracks are added to our catalogue every single week.

You can try a couple of things:

  • Add your MP3 collection to Deezer :calling:
  • Contact the artist via their social media channels and request for the tracks/albums to be added to Deezer, we take care of the rest :nerd:

    Yesterday we launched our brand new Japanese Music Channel!

    The channel features a wide range of playlists covering local musical trends, back-catalogue and contextualised playlists about local traditions/culture. Such as:

    :cherry_blossom: Ambient, Onsen (=hot spring) and Headspace 
    :cherry_blossom: Japan Cherry Blossoms, Japan Anime, Japan Gaming Music

    Also, exclusive playlists by 8 local artists will be good fun for you! With this launch, we had many gaming music deliveries including SEGA, ATLUS, CAPCOM, KOEI TECMO GAMES and Sony Interactive Entertainment.

    Hello.  Wondering if an album by Canadian artist Jess Moskaluke called 'Past The Past' could be added.  You have all of her other stuff already, just not this album or any songs from it.

    Past the Past is the third extended play recorded by Canadian country pop artist Jess Moskaluke. It was released through MDM Recordings Inc. on November 3, 2017

      I can’t find all “Amr Diab” new albums.

      I have changed the country but didn’t work.

      I read related topics but all links show “Sorry, you have no access to this page.”

      Hello the New single from the band Dri3man is in Dutch and English on al the streams accept on Deezer. Here i miss the Dutch version "omarmen " when is this availble on Deezer. Release datum was on 24 februari.

            I love the Current Joys but for some reason there only is the live version of the album "Wild Heart" available. The live version is very different and I'd love to be able to listen to the album without having to change streaming service every time just to listen to one of those songs. I hope you will be able to add it! Thank you in advance
