Thanks for the info provided. One more last thing, can you share with us the number of albums that you have added to the Albums section on your Deezer app, please?

The bug has been identified by our developers and they are working on it already, so it will be fixed soon! 🙏

I have this problem at the favorite songs playlist, which are 2078 tracks.

Still seeing this issue. I'm using a Oneplus 12 running android 14. My old phone was an Oppo Find X5 pro, firstly on Android 13, then upgraded to 14 and had the same issue on that. My Deezer app version is 8.0.7.16.

I navigate to favourites, then download albums. I browse the list and choose an album, but then decide to carry on browsing my album list. When I select back, I'm sent to the top of the list rather than where I was on the list previously.

This is a real pain when I have a huge list of downloaded albums.

Hi,

It's very frustrating, even the quick scroll function is glitchy.

I have s24 now and all same issues.

I think spotify it will have to be. I hope that deezer contact us if they ever fix the glitch.

I only have the issue when scrolling through favourite songs.

I gave a solution above and it hasn't been implemented, so it seems they don't really care, i think to implement code that would allow to copy 'favourite songs' playlist would take a a few hours if even, but they seem to be content with us having the issue.

Hi @Neilo1991, I'm sorry to hear about your experience.

Have you considered reinstalling the app and clearing the cache? Sometimes, these steps can resolve common issues.

Furthermore, rebooting your phone might also help.

If you could record a video detailing the step-by-step process you're following, it would greatly assist us in understanding the problem.

This is a screen capture which shows the problem. After showing lyrics (it happens even without showing the lyrics but after that the bug is instantly) and going back to the Playlist, the playlist has jumped to the top and is no more at the last point (artist, whatever) it was before. 

 

Some bugs in the deezer app are there long times. Its offtopic, but when you stream via Bluetooth to (in my case) a Teufel boomster, everytime (!!!) I tab on another song, it wont play over the Bluetooth speaker but only in the App (you see that the song is playing, but you cant hear anything). To get the sound back you have to pause the track and wait some seconds and then click "play" or you go to the song before and click "next". Weird. This bug is around many years.

This is driving me insane now, with matters made even worse due to other issues meaning I had to delete all my music and start over.

Browsing a list of 1000+ albums only to be sent back to the list every time is now unbearable 🤬

I have to say that the support received seems very slow. 

It's not like this is a free app, I've been paying for this for many years now, and the HiFi subscription isn't exactly cheap!! 💰💰💰

Has this issue even been fed back to the app Devs?

Edit: I've just read back through the previous posts and see that Deezer admin referred to this as a bug, this was 6 months ago, and it's still not fixed 🙀

Okay deezer admin, seriously we need more communication. I have not had the problems that are mentioned above. There seems to be serious issues with the coding that is being inplemented. I have no issue with playing music from a playlist other than 'favourites'. If i create a playlist and play a song, i can go to another app and come back to deezer, the playlist position has not changed but if i do this in playlist 'favourite songs' i have a problem of it going back to the start.

We are supporting the deezer company, at the beginning of this thread, deezer admins were responding, but now silence. I understand you guys are busy, but leaving us without reply for so long is not good enough. I am a little drunk writing this, so apologies if i am coming across as rude but the app experience is going to shit. I love this app and i recommend to everyone to change from spotify but you guys have to get the act together 🙏

I am questioning now if you even care, i can see 1 day ago 'Leonidia' who is deezer admin has responded with the same message from 6 weeks ago, this is ridiculous, sending us bot messages with instructions that we have already followed. Really not good enough 🤷‍♂️

What happens when you don't fix your many bugs?

 

Your customers leave. Tidal is now £10.99 per month and has better quality audio and an app that works.

 

Customers give you feedback to the many issues, yet you don't fix them. You loose….

It's the lack of response that gets to me. To be honest I will give them another month, and then i think i'll just switch to spotify. Why put up with such a huge issue for so long, there is a method of transferring your songs directly to spotify. It's not like we are getting the service for free.

Before, i loved how i could find new tracks with track mix, but recently i have started using Beatport streaming, and they allow you to follow labels which pretty much gives you access to a far greater music library.

I was going to continue using deezer and beatport, but if the issue isn't resolved in 30 days, it's Bon Voyage. 

You've been great to me Deezer, but lack of communication over such a huge issue has worn out my patience 😔

😂 just scrolled up and saw that we started this conversation 4 months ago, quite incredible.

I think they had everyone working on the new UI and completely ignored this huge problem.

I'm not having any issues regarding bluetooth, or songs not playing.
