How to stop auto play on Deezer - when last track ends

Hi

I simply want to stop deezer automatically playing new/random music when my track/album ends.

Not interested in recommendations, I just want to control what I to listen to (at all times), not what some AI thinks I want.

This is easy in spotify, but I can't find this simple setting in Deezer. Trial started today

This is a deal breaker, I like the app so far.

Hey @mareep, @Neebl Have you deactivated the “Automated recommendations”? You have to do it from browser or desktop app. Start playing the album, Open the queue, Scroll down and deactivate Automated recommendations.

This isn't an adequate answer. Of course I've deactivated the “Automated recommendations" in the queue. The autoplay is still happening when I'm casting to my smart speakers.

Apologies everyone, just wanted to make sure it was deactivated! This is an abnormal behaivour, I have notified our devs team about it. Thanks for reporting it.

To disable autoplay on Deezer desktop app and browser after the last track, you can turn off the "Autoplay" feature.

Please follow these steps:

Open Deezer and navigate to the "Now Playing" screen.
Click on the "Queue" icon, typically found in the bottom right-hand corner.
Locate the "Autoplay" toggle button and switch it off.

Unfortunately, on the mobile phone app this feature it not available as Deezer considers a perfect way to discover news song and artists.

If it’s so perfect, then surely the users who want it wouldn’t turn it off?

But unfortunately, Deezer considers it a perfect way to make more money, so they won’t change it.

I had hoped for Deezer to be a good alternative to Spotify, but this autoplay thing is an absolute dealbreaker. For me, *playing one song/album at a time* is just basic default, not a fancy idea from unicornland that may or may not come true someday. And I certainly won’t go looking to find workarounds for this. What’s so hard about just making it an option and letting the user control whether or not they want to use it?

Very sorry, but I’m afraid I’ll have to return to that Swedish creep for the time being.

Wait, its been literally 4 years and there is still no functionality on the smartphone apps to completely disable there awful recommendations that hijack the playlists? That's utter BS, especially since none of the recommendation are songs I might like. At that point the dev teams actively does NOT want to implement it. I get it.

I was coming from Amazon Music and Tidal because I thought the grass is greener here. Guess I'm going back where I was.

Totally get that autoplay can be annoying. In Deezer, there’s no super clear toggle like in Spotify. I faced the same when I switched and used muzconvtool to test things out without losing my playlists. Hopefully they improve this soon.

I have no such "Autoplay" toggle button on Deezer webapp with my premium account...

Same here. Came to Deezer because of the attempt to identify AI slop, but cancelled. Not a usable app in its current state.

Currently, Deezer does not provide a built-in option to disable auto-play final cut pro x crackeado when the last track ends.

Create a Playlist: Instead of playing tracks individually, create a playlist with just the track you want to listen to. When the track ends, the playlist will not have any additional tracks to automatically play.
Use the Queue: After selecting the track you want to listen to, add it to the queue instead of directly playing it. Once the track ends, the queue will be empty, preventing any further tracks from auto-playing.
Utilize Deezer's Sleep Timer: If you're using the Deezer mobile app, you can take advantage of the Sleep Timer feature. Start playing the track, then open the Sleep Timer settings. Set the timer to a short duration, such as 1 or 2 minutes. When the timer ends, playback will stop, preventing auto-play of additional tracks.
Provide Feedback to Deezer: If disabling auto-play after the last track ends is a feature you would like to see in Deezer, you can reach out to their support or use the feedback channels available within the Deezer app. Let them know about your preference and suggest adding an option to disable auto-play for a more tailored listening experience.

Unnecessarily complicated.
In the Deezer Android app I don’t find any way to access the queue, which is full of titles I played previously and unwanted junk that Deezer has added.
I do not want a sleep timer, I just want to play *only the track (or tracks) that I have selected.
In the Android app I don’t find a feedback option. All I find is help, and when I click on that it takes me to a website. Clicking the feedback option on that website leads me back to the community forum.

It’s much easier to switch to other streaming service than waiting for his majesty Deezer do something for customers.
