How to stop auto play on Deezer - when last track ends

Update: The android app for Amazon Music is terrible, almost unusable. The desktop app isn’t much better.

I have a semi-workaround to play one song, dragging the song to the bottom of the queue is relatively quick (approx 4 seconds). Also, searching a playlist so that there is one song found allows for one song to be played by itself. Overall, it’s not too bad, the android app is very responsive, so managing queues/playlists is not frustrating.

Having compared Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music and Deezer, it’s clear that Deezer and Spotify have the better Android apps. They are similar in speed and allow you to search your playlists, which is suprisingly important for me.

Apple Music’s auotmix is more annoying than Deezer’s and the app, while visually appealing, isn’t as functional in some areas. It also has an ‘Apple UI’ feel, e.g. the back button on android does nothing on many screens, and there are many context based gestures. As an andriod user it feels awkward, you may like it if you have an iphone.

Amazon Music is by far the worst, in terms of app quality, I have encountered many bugs and glitches in a short time. It’s also incredibly slow to manage playlists, adding a song can take 10+ seconds. Deleting songs from your library can only be done one at a time, which is insane. No playlist search and a buggy playlist sort feature (it struggles to sort by recently added). The desktop app is a joke, slow and buggy with zero additional functionality compared to the website.

Spotify is still the standard bearer, with only one real major downside, no lossless. Also, some of my favourite songs have been removed from the platform (but this could happen to any of them). After 5 plus years of Spotify premium, I’ve been lucky to have few complaints. The desktop app is by far the best at managing your library, fast and responsive. Being able to use ctrl, shift, ctrl-a/c/v, etc, is so good.

Deezer so far is a close second, the UI is familiar coming from Spotify. The MP3 upload is easier to operate than Spotify, and songs are actually uploaded to Deezer’s servers, unlike Spotify (which is more akin to transfer between devices). Uploaded music can be seemlessly integrated with your playlists, just like Spotify. However, there is still no excuse for not being able to disable trackmix.

I will see how I feel at the end of the trial.

The designated solution in this thread appears to be obsolete. In the Deezer app on iPadOS I find no such option when scroling down th playlst while playing something.

Hi @rsbrux, unfortunately, the Automated recommendations is not available on the Deezer mobile app.
However this option is available on the desktop app.

Which “desktop app”?  I rarely use Deezer on my Windows PC, and when I do, I just access the website in my browser. Do I need to install another app just to access this option?

Install deezer from their web site or from Microsoft store 

Currently, Deezer does not provide a built-in option to disable auto-play final cut pro x crackeado when the last track ends.

1. Create a Playlist: Instead of playing tracks individually, create a playlist with just the track you want to listen to. When the track ends, the playlist will not have any additional tracks to automatically play.

2. Use the Queue: After selecting the track you want to listen to, add it to the queue instead of directly playing it. Once the track ends, the queue will be empty, preventing any further tracks from auto-playing.

3. Utilize Deezer's Sleep Timer: If you're using the Deezer mobile app, you can take advantage of the Sleep Timer feature. Start playing the track, then open the Sleep Timer settings. Set the timer to a short duration, such as 1 or 2 minutes. When the timer ends, playback will stop, preventing auto-play of additional tracks.

4. Provide Feedback to Deezer: If disabling auto-play after the last track ends is a feature you would like to see in Deezer, you can reach out to their support or use the feedback channels available within the Deezer app. Let them know about your preference and suggest adding an option to disable auto-play for a more tailored listening experience.

I just moved from Spotify because of their abysmal new desktop app. I am quite happy with Deezer, but just noticed that albums do not stop when over but that autoplay is always on. This is really awful. Is there really no setting to turn it off permanentely? This might be a reason to cancel my subscription because I hate it when music just continues after the album is over.

Hello @Saturninesoul to avoid getting recommendations on the end of an album, just open the queue, and turn off option “Automated recommendations”. With that option OFF, you will not get any recommendation when queue ends.
