How to stop auto play on Deezer - when last track ends

Hi

I simply want to stop deezer automatically playing new/random music when my track/album ends.

Not interested in recommendations, I just want to control what I to listen to (at all times), not what some AI thinks I want.

This is easy in spotify, but I can't find this simple setting in Deezer. Trial started today

This is a deal breaker, I like the app so far.

Android - Samsung S9 - deezer up to date

Hey @mareep@Neebl Have you deactivated the “Automated recommendations”? You have to do it from browser or desktop app. Start playing the album, Open the queue, Scroll down and deactivate Automated recommendations.

This isn't an adequate answer. Of course I've deactivated the “Automated recommendations" in the queue. The autoplay is still happening when I'm casting to my smart speakers.

Apologies everyone, just wanted to make sure it was deactivated! This is an abnormal behaivour, I have notified our devs team about it. Thanks for reporting it.

@Yula , can you confirm that resolving this problem i.e. getting rid of unwanted autoplay is definitely included in the development schedule. A problem report must have been raised months ago and the change agreed by now.

Surely all that is needed is to make the function “opt-in” on all devices.

I'm about to cancel my subscription too as I really hate that deezer decides for me what I must listen to.

If I click one song I just want to play that one song. Not another 41 songs that Deezer adds to my playlist!!

Can you please simply explain to me why it is not possible to disable this feature on a mobile app when it is possible to do on a desktop? Is it really that terribly complicated? Next, can you explain to me why after the album is over, music starts playing that I don't listen to at all and don't like? Let me give you an example. Today I was listening to an album from the movie Rocky III. That album is from 1982 After the end, some terrible techno and hard dance started playing automatically, which I don't listen to at all, and it ruined my whole listening and really pissed me off. I could understand if a similar style of music started playing, but I don't understand why it jumps to a different level and something else that I don't have in albums or performers at all? Can you please explain? It's really upsetting. thanks

just moved from spotify to deezer yesterday and found that there’s no way to turn this feature off

vote +1 to add this feature

I am with most people here, can you PLEASE make a simple feature that stops playing when the music I selected is done?

This cannot be a hard feature to implement, and I am not at all interested in what your system think I should listen to (next).

+1 for this. It’s really quite astonishing, to be listening to a beautiful mournful track fade into the blackness and then suddenly get, as I just did, Bloodhound Gang roaring into my headphones.

Nothing wrong with the Bloodhound Gang - I just. Want. To not. Autoplay. Random. Songs.

This is clearly something which is important to the community, and should be easily selectable.

Deezer desktop on Windows, fwiw.

Coming up two years with no fix for this? … guess I’m cancelling my subscription and looking elsewhere then.

Same here, very irritating to get a whole playlist of unwanted tracks each time I search and listen to a particular song.

I realise every additional stream probably generates revenue but come on! This is not the way to do it guys.

Just signed up to Deezer and tried to play a song, i.e. ONE song. Somehow impossible with Deezer! Also, the sleep timer doesn't have 'end of track' as an option, which would be a workaround.

Apple music has something similar, you can turn it off, but it turns itself back on after a while. I cancelled the free trial after 3 days. Deezer hasn't lasted 3 hours!

Lossless doesn't matter if basic controls/features are missing or don't work correctly. I've never felt held back by the Spotify UI in the same way. It's not perfect but it has just enough so I don't notice.

I'll try Amazon Music next, fingers crossed!
