Duo not working

I upgraded to Deezer Duo and sent my wife the link. Unfortunately she's having a difficult experience. After she clicked the link she got a screen that asked her if she wanted to join Deezer. Disregarded that but now she is clearly on the free version of Deezer, not the paid Duo version (e.g. she can’t download songs, etc.). We both used Android phones. Can't figure out how to get her access. Any ideas how to resolve this?

Hello there @bmcnurlen

I’ll shotgun some suggestions. They are all free and easy.

  • I’m assuming the shared link isn’t over 30 days old, in which case it will have expired.
  • You said you’ve tried, but I would suggest the admin (you) re-try sending the link a different way. Send it to her via your desktop/laptop and have her try to join from her desktop/laptop. Try it via e-mail if you sent it before by text (or vice-versa).
  • Double check to ensure the link is accurate and hasn’t been clipped. This is important.
  • Are you set on having independent accounts or might a profile account meet your needs? The admin can set that up immediately from their profile.
  • Here is the link for the Duo account page if you want to double-check your process: Deezer Duo Support

If the problem persists, please get in touch with the Deezer Support Team and an agent will be able to help. Best of luck.

Thanks, @GropplerZorn. What was making me think she wasn’t using the Duo version and was on the free version of Deezer is the fact she couldn’t download a single track. I’ve now checked and she is indeed using her Deezer Duo account, but still can’t download a single track, she can only download an album. I’m able to download tracks on my profile, so that’s what confused me. So, now to get the songs she wants to listen to offline she needs to download entire albums. This doesn’t seem right but I can’t find a solution.
