How do I manage my notification settings on Deezer?

I’ve been getting notifications recently even though I unsubscribed from all of them!

No worries, we’ve just made significant changes to our notification system. Therefore the notification settings were reset so you could benefit from the improvement and receive news and updates about Deezer's new categories.

You can of course change your notification settings, find out how just below :arrow_down: 

 

How do I manage my notifications?

Use the checkboxes :ballot_box_with_check: to personalize your notification preferences. Here’s how to access the settings:

→:iphone:On iOS: 

Open Favorites :heart: > Settings :gear: > My account :mens: > Manage my account > Notification preferences

 

→:iphone:On Android: 

Open Favorites :heart: > Settings :gear: > Manage my account :mens: > Notification preferences

 

→:computer: On computer:

Open deezer.com or the Deezer desktop app. Click on your user profile icon > Account Settings > Notification preferences tab.

 

:exclamation: Any changes you make to your Deezer notification preferences will be updated within 48 hours

 

How do I get notifications related to my Favorites?​​​

The notifications are now divided into three categories, Music, Shows and Extras. Have a look and choose what you wish to be notified about. You will find more information about the management of the notifications settings above :arrow_up:

 

How do I receive my listening statistics on Deezer? :chart_with_upwards_trend:

All you have to do is to check Listening habits in the Music category, and obviously to listen to your music on Deezer :wink:

      @Martijn.Keymis, don’t be sorry, I totally agree as a user, we’re working on this now to improve it. It’s important that you allow notifications for the Artists I like category, once we’ll have improved this it will enable you to get this kind of notifications you’re looking for :slight_smile:

        I’m not sure why anyone at Deezer thought it would be appropriate to force users to have untick 57 boxes just to unsubscribe from every piece of marketing material they want to send you.

         

        But you can add this to the list of reasons why I’m closing my account! First no Spotify-style remote control via phone (requested 2017) , and now no respect for our time whatsoever.

          Hi,

          I tried the free subscription for a bit but I really don't like adds so got the family subscription quite fast.

          I was browsing the app for music and got 3 banners and 2 popups about stuff I don't want to listen to.

          Now seeing how I am paying the subscription I would expect no adds.

          So how do I turn these popups and banners off?

            You have a right not to like advertisements.

            Actually I do not like them either, this is why I am premium customer.

            If you can not afford it, please make sure to post them more feedback about ads.

            If you see ads and paid, perhaps you need to log out and log in?

            The Minimalists say that advertisements sucks, and I agree with them!

            Thank you for listening music on Deezer Premium, it should be ad free.

            Я подписан на Deezer Family. А мне каждий месяц приложение пишет Deezer premium. Как можно закрепить мою подписку без изменений

            There are a total of 36 notification checkmarks that you can activate or deactivate. Unfortunately, there is no way to generally deactivate everything. This means that if you don't want any notifications, you have to manually remove 36 notification checkmarks.

            I have no idea how difficult it is to program. But maybe there is a way.
