How do I manage my notification settings on Deezer?

I’ve been getting notifications recently even though I unsubscribed from all of them!

No worries, we’ve just made significant changes to our notification system. Therefore the notification settings were reset so you could benefit from the improvement and receive news and updates about Deezer's new categories.

You can of course change your notification settings, find out how just below :arrow_down: 

 

How do I manage my notifications?

Use the checkboxes :ballot_box_with_check: to personalize your notification preferences. Here’s how to access the settings:

→:iphone:On iOS: 

Open Favorites :heart: > Settings :gear: > My account :mens: > Manage my account > Notification preferences

 

→:iphone:On Android: 

Open Favorites :heart: > Settings :gear: > Manage my account :mens: > Notification preferences

 

→:computer: On computer:

Open deezer.com or the Deezer desktop app. Click on your user profile icon > Account Settings > Notification preferences tab.

 

:exclamation: Any changes you make to your Deezer notification preferences will be updated within 48 hours

 

How do I get notifications related to my Favorites?​​​

The notifications are now divided into three categories, Music, Shows and Extras. Have a look and choose what you wish to be notified about. You will find more information about the management of the notifications settings above :arrow_up:

 

How do I receive my listening statistics on Deezer? :chart_with_upwards_trend:

All you have to do is to check Listening habits in the Music category, and obviously to listen to your music on Deezer :wink:

      Wow, it looks really great, but i can’t find these options in my settings:

       

      Could someone please explain which one to pick if i only want to get these notifications:

            This is really poor. What do you mean, "No worries"? Seems to me you are saying you can ignore people's preferences whenever you like. Why did you not reset everything to be opted out by default when you changed it around? Then people could search instead for "I've not been getting notifications recently". I have lost a fair bit of the trust I had in you to do the right thing.

              Hello @scambogle, I understand what you mean, and I agree with you from your perspective. Basically the notification system we had until now was quite old and badly needed to be updated. As we switched to a whole new system, it was better for technical reasons not to import the previous data. I’m sorry you see it this way, and I hope we’ll be able to regain your trust in the future.

              maybe it’s been asked before (sorry) but it would be nice to have all the release notifications of the artists you like/follow in Deezer 😃 Now there are only a few notifications about some artists releases
