“Notifications” (bell icon menu) - is my mental model right?

First: I want to distinguish between the device-associated settings that enable or disable push notifications, and the menu labelled “notifications” you view by tapping the bell icon. I’m talking about the latter.

I'm coming from Spotify, where “what’s new” lists every new single, ep or album release by every artist I follow.

my expectation of the Deezer notifications menu is that it should do the same thing.

for the first week, it was totally empty, even after importing >1000 favorite artists.  I eventually reached out to support and the technical team made some change.

since then there’s been a single release per day.

including today, where, looking at Spotify’s What’s New, I see about a dozen new releases. I’ve sampled some of them on Deezer and confirmed that a) I have favorited that artist and b) the album is available here, too.

so: my expectation is that I would have access to a time-ordered list of every new release by every artist I’ve favorited. Is that the intended behaviour of the Notifications menu? If not- is there somewhere else on the app that I can view every new release by every artist I’ve favorited?

I as well no longer see New Releases or Discovery anywhere on my home page or explore section of Deezer. The closest I now get is the Discovery section of flow, which sometimes plays way too many songs I already have in my playlists.
