is there a connection problem for uk accounts?

The app on my phone opens but cannot connect to the servers, I love in the UK and for the past several days each time I go to listen to my music I am not able to connect to my account. I am also unable to log out of my app. Is this a server problem and why hasn't anyone notification gone out regarding this issue?

Thank you for getting back to me, I understand the delay during this time of year. I no longer have any problems, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and that seems to have done the trick. I did miss about 10/12 days of my contact.
