Heya, same issue. More details below
- MS3000 happens as mentioned on desktop
- Identical issue on mobile, but with MS0675
- Both versions can play MP3s directly without issues.
- Problem only comes up with playlists, that include said MP3s
- Not all MP3s are affected. Some still play with no issue. They become progressively more however.
- Un- and reinstalling didn‘t help on either version.
- Reinstalling the MP3s didn‘t help either
- Problem persisted since about two weeks ago.
If you need any more details, feel free to ask

Hi,
As far as I can tell I’m having mostly similar issues to Derlzayoi, who replied to you already -- the only difference is our mobile issues, I don’t seem to be having any struggles on mobile. I don’t use mobile very frequently so I’m not entirely sure if the issues generally persist there, but a quick attempt at playing one of the songs through a playlist on mobile had it seemingly play fine.
And yes, I’m a paid subscriber, have been for a couple years now.
I’m having the same problem playing from Firefox, free user, older mp3s are fine but all the new ones I upload are failing. This, plus the new issue with skipping means I’m spending more and more time listening to music on Winamp like it’s 2004 again. It’s a shame because Deezer genuinely is my favourite music streaming site, but it’s no good to me when it fails at doing that.
To me it’s the same. The funny thing is though I can play the mp3 fine on my pc without any error code but on my iphone it says that the “file can’t load due to bad internet quality” whatever that means. Turning off wifi and 5g and turning it back on again doesn’t help. I had this issue since yesterday, only new mp3 files are effected. But this morning, when opening up deezer on iphone it started downloading again for some reason but now it stopped again. So this seems to be a server issue/app issue on deezer side.
I have the same problem, 4 days ago i add a lot of new mp3 on my account and only one of them don’t have the problem

Btw, I think they fixed it or it’s just pure luck but just a couple of hours ago the MP3 songs started to download instantly. So I guess they fixed it. Will try some more MP3 songs later on to see if they have really fixed it.
It’s just pure luck, i still have it

Ah, alright. Then will have to wait on an update from Deezer.
Definitely not fixed, I’m now getting it with songs that worked perfectly before.

Yeah, I worte this comment yesterday and after the comment, on the PC app, I get that MS code. But for some reason, on the website, I don’t. So I have no idea what is up with that. How come the app doesn’t work yet the website does. And yes, I do get that code for old songs too. Strange.
Same issue with me on desktop version. A few months ago I had a different situation where web version mp3s failed to play, while the desktop version played them well. Now it’s vice versa
same on browser and app. I’m a paid subscriber.
can’t read playlist containing MP3 since I’ve dowloaded new MP3 songs
Same problem on browser, app, mobile app (android), all MP3 songs load once every ten times....
But it stops reading and doesn't get past this problem...
Hi, this is a known issue now and our developers are aware and working on a permanent fix.
Thanks for your patience and apologies for the inconvenience.

When will fix come?
@sznk1337 I don’t have an ETA for the fix but as soon as it is fixed our devs will inform us and I’ll update you.
Thanks again for your patience
I have a solution that works for me and my friend.
When i go to deezer web version, before playing any song, i need to wait few minutes. After waiting 3-4 minutes i can click play, and all MP4 songs will be loaded properly.
So the temporary solution is just to wait a couple of minutes after loading website/desktop app before playing a song, so that MP4s can load properly.
Here is my explanation on reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/deezer/comments/1fnfer7/comment/lowhsm6/
Hi @Luka1356, thanks for sharing your temporary workaround
Same issue. Great someone discovers a workaround, but waiting for minutes is crap and it's definitely not a solution when using playlists. The so called workaround is partial and in fact not a workaround at all, because it doesn’t solve anything. It's an interesting effect, noticed while troubleshooting.
Since all issues resulting in this ms3000 error involves mp3 uploads, I'd guess that’s a good place to start looking for answers.
I also imagine deezer would like to maintain some quality control by specifying parameters for mp3 uploads.
My questions are:
what do you mean with 'known issue’ as in: how exactly did you define this known issue?
are there specs for the mp3's to be uploaded that must be adhered to for everything to work without this error? Did they change, since some mp3's worked before?
where can i find documentation on this known issue where i can read the status?
is there a relation between the specs of the audio chip used and this error? my mp3's fail on my laptop but work fine on my phone.
Hi @edboon , as mentioned above, it is a well known issue, which means our developers are aware of it after users’ reports and they are working on a fix, but I don’t have an ETA for it.
Regarding Mp3’s, Occasionally, uploading MP3s in VBR (Variable Bit Rate) format can cause playback issues. We recommend that you upload files encoded in the CBR (Constant Bit Rate) MP3 format.
You won’t be able to find documentation about this, but if you want to follow up on the status of this problem, you can contact our Deezer Support Team and one of oue agents will be able to help.
Thanks for your patience and apologies for the inconvenience.
Thanks for your answer. Additional info: i found this issue to be present on my phone too. The ones that work are likely in cache. Still prefer you over spotify. ;)
@edboon it is present on mobile too and I believe the error there is MS0675.
Our devs are working on both and hopefully there will be a fix soon
I keep having the same problem on Windows using the desktop app. It is really annoying… I have been using Deezer for about a year and a half and it has been happening for maybe 4-5 months now. I have no idea about the bitrates of my mp3’s but they didn’t cause any issues in the beginning. Also, there is one song which is not an mp3 I have uploaded myself that gives me the same error when it is done playing: In the Midst by sir Was. It is really odd, sometimes it just stops playing mid-song.
I hope your developers find a fix for these issues soon.
