I left Deezer a couple of years ago because it couldn't remember where I stopped listening the day before, like the other music apps. 

Because of well documented reasons I left Spotify and came back to Deezer hoping the problem was solved.

Unfortunately this isn't the case. EVERY single morning when I go to work and EVERY afternoon when I go home it starts all over again!

I downloaded 1100 songs. Why won't you let me listen to them?

I paid for a year. Is it possible to get my money back?

If not, please fix! (I know I'm not the only one with this problem so don't start about more details and Dev's)

What is the specific problem now?
Can't select your downloaded music?
Are there error messages?
Which device are you using?
iOS or Android? What versions are on it?
Which Deezer app version are you using?
Do you use headphones? If so, paired via Bluetooth?

Sorry for the many questions, but just saying that titles repeat themselves every day doesn't help us much.


After not listening to Deezer for a couple of ours, the music doesn’t start playing where I left off, but start the same cycle again. Spotify starts mid song where you left the day before. Never had that problem..
I can select my downloaded music
There are no error messages
I use an Oneplus 8Pro
Android
Version 7.0.1.60
Headphones/speaker via Bluetooth

Now I understand.
I only have an iPhone, but I was able to reconstruct the behavior you described in principle.

How do you close the deezer app? Do you remove the app completely from memory after use or do you just switch to another app?

If I just close the app without removing it from memory, everything is fine.
As soon as I completely remove the app from memory, deezer forgets the contents of my queue.

I don't use the 'Sync Queue' feature. And that is the reason for this behavior.

As soon as I activate the queue sync, I can completely remove the deezer app from the memory on the smartphone. My queue and the last track played are retained.

Please look into your settings in the deezer app (→ Music tab → gear wheel top right) under 'Devices' to see whether you have activated the sync or not.

If you have disabled the sync, you should enable it once and then test it.
