Unable to start a free trial, Melodie the AI bot is no help


I’ve tried 3 times, on 2 different computers, to sign up for a free trial. I get an error. I reached out to support and have only received replies from the AI bot Melodie. She keeps creating me new tickets and no real person gets in touch with me. 

The collection of ticket numbers I have accumulated:

  • 7998377
  • 7998375
  • 7998368
  • 7996610

I wasn’t able to sign up for a free trial. I went ahead with a paid plan.

Have you tried to reach out during office hours? And yes, what kind of error do you get? And are you signing up with a browser or with the Deezer app?

“Your transaction has failed, please retry with another payment method.”

A real life Deezer agent finally reached out to me and said it could be my bank flagging it (I’m based in the USA and Deezer is in France.)
