So with Spotify having an AI DJ and Youtube music also seemingly soon getting one.

Does deezer have plans for this too?

Maybe even a Flow with some AI dj or Podcasts mixed in between every few songs?

Hi @Evonos

Really curious , do you have a minimum words to post ? The entire first half was kinda off topic to the feature request cause it's a entite different feature so pointless and a waste to read here :/

And you even pointed false facts about the ai DJ out.

The AI DJ also inserts ai generated voice lines and more hence it being a "Ai DJ " and not a "radio " feature.

Sometimes less is more specially if it doesn't cover the full point just saying.

Atleast your text doesn't seem to be ai generated multiple ais say it could be ai augmented but not fully generated I guess that's good.

Hello there @Evonos

I’ve had Spotify in the past and used the DJ feature. I know we all have different tastes, but I didn’t care for it. The algorithm was painfully repetitive and the AI voice feature was unnecessary at best, grating at worst. It seems as if the voice feature is the primary complaint from Spotify users (if reddit and other online forums are to be believed).

That said, with deezer actively moving away from artificial content and supporting actual artists and playlist curators, I would be surprised if something like this was introduced here. It’s possible, given how well they do with Flow, that they could execute a better product. But I don’t have any insight on that.

Yes , that's the thing with being the first with a feature there's usually someone coming in with a improved version , let's see how ytm handles it as they also got a improved flow with way more settings since a while.

And deezer going away from artifical features is sad to hear specially if we consider that flow an artifical feature is the main selling point of deezer.

I explicitly avoid Spotify , tidal , and napster due to missing artifical discovery features and general missing features.

Iam bound for now to deezer but might switch again at the end of my contract but let's see if deezer evolves or not.

If I may ask, what kind of AI features are you hoping for Deezer to use in the near future?

Spotify’s Hashtag Search
(Possibly AI-driven or expertly curated)
Searching tags like #comedy yields playlists and Songs focused on humor or novelty (e.g., example 1example 2). Tags such as #folk or #medieval also return surprisingly relevant results, offering flexible discovery.

Napster’s AI Playlist Generator
Despite Napster’s overall shortcomings, its GPT-powered tool works effectively. Users describe a theme (e.g., “rainy-day jazz”) to generate tailored playlists—a feature that could excel on more robust platforms.

YouTube’s “Tune Radio” Algorithm
This adjustable flow system (screenshot) exemplifies ideal customization, bridging the gap between rigid “similar tracks” and forced “100% new music” modes. Introducing sliders or filters (e.g., genre blend, familiarity vs. discovery) could revolutionize algorithmic flexibility.

AI-Powered DJ Flow
A blend of music, podcasts, news, and weather updates would be my wishlist(e.g., Spotify’s AI DJ, YouTube Music’s upcoming tools) is gaining traction. Ideal for road trips, it balances entertainment with real-time context.

AI-Driven Song Requests
Current request systems are simplistic. AI could enhance them by analyzing context (e.g., event type, mood) or lyrics, moving beyond basic keyword matching—a potential upgrade for services like Deezer. ATM Requesting songs via Support is pointless ( why is that even a category under support ? )

Likely more i forgot about while using mostly All services so far in the music streaming area.
