Why send me an offer then find out it's not what it seems

It really annoys me when companies offer you a discount and then when they’ve got your attention take it away.

In an email today Deezer offered me 3 months for the price of 1 and when I clicked on the link it turns out you only get 1 month free. There is no excuse, they’ve sent the offer to an email I used to subscribe to Deezer a few years ago. Why send out false offers?

Thanks for taking the time to reply much appreciated. I responded to a different offer which was £3.99/month for 3 months so 6 and one half dozen really. 😀
