My Deezer subscription was increased. Why please?

      Hi @Azubuike Selma prices have increased in your country and the new price for your subscription is USD$10.99
      We’ve updated our offering so that all paid subscriptions now have access to HiFi content by default and to ensure the experience is consistent across all markets going forward. We want to provide more value to our subscribers by giving them lossless quality music. In addition, we want to make sure that payouts to the artists you enjoy have increased by the exact same percentage.

      What the actual fuck … I’m going from 7.45 USD  to 17.99 USD that’s madness.. Im switching to Spotify… what the hell

        How will I move from $2 to $10, this is so much, I don't really need the hi-fi because I hv been using Deezer for some months and I didn't see a need for the hi-fi

          This is bad. After all these years..time to move elsewhere. So disappointed with the new price.

            @yonosastra as a current paid subscriber you’ll be able to keep the old price but you won’t get HiFi quality only HQ.

              Ah. Okay. Thats good! I think i am good with just HQ. Thanks for this information. I will continue my subscription.

                @Jaime but it doesn't make sense that prices are standardized for every country. $10.99 in the US isn't the same for US as it is for Bolivia, or India, or Venezuela. Isn't Deezer considering customers as well? For many of us is doubling the pricing, and in some cases it's even worse.

                    HI Jamie,

                    I keep seeing expired subscription on my profile whereas I have a continuous default payment via card ongoing. Trying to subscribe now and am seeing 10.99USD which is more that 5 times my previous payment
