We want to provide more value to our subscribers by giving them lossless quality music. How will I move from $2 to $10, this is so much, I don't really need the hi-fi because I hv been using Deezer for some months and I didn't see a need for the hi-fi

@Jaime but it doesn't make sense that prices are standardized for every country. $10.99 in the US isn't the same for US as it is for Bolivia, or India, or Venezuela. Isn't Deezer considering customers as well? For many of us is doubling the pricing, and in some cases it's even worse.

I keep seeing expired subscription on my profile whereas I have a continuous default payment via card ongoing. Trying to subscribe now and am seeing 10.99USD which is more that 5 times my previous payment

Sorry but it seems like you don’t want “the rest of the world” to be your customer. in my country as well the prices nearly doubled!! OUTRAGES! Once my yearly subscription ends (on July) I leave!

I'm not sure how to move from $2 to $10, that's so much. I don't think I need the hi-fi because I have been using Deezer for some time now, so I didn't see the need for it.
as one of the first customers I was granted a life-time discounted subscription.. I never failed payments, I just simply enjoyed a promotion that Deezer used to get traction in the market… Well, after a decade, after a misleading communication announcing a +1 Euro increase, I find a much higher charge by checking my bank account.. As response to my initial query, the support agent reminds of the money the promotion made me save over the years… so what?? that’s exactly why I decided to stay so loyal to Deezer. Only option?… Kiss goodbye. Well done Deezer, I give you a couple more years on the market as these policies will make you loose customer to your (bigger) competitors.

Apologies for the inconvenience.
The comments here from others are quite accurate. I was on a family plan charged at $3 monthly, which is 1,400 Naira here in Nigeria. That’s a huge dollar to naira difference. Now to suddenly increase it by about 6 times the price, $17.99, you can imagine how much more that would cost in my country. That’s 7,500 Naira, It’s outrageous, don’t you guys even consider your customers from other countries. Do you think the world revolves around the American countries alone. I mean what were you guys thinking.
Even if it’s to include a compulsory Hi-Fi, it’s still way too much. You should make it optional like it was, because really not everyone needs hifi, we just wanna listen to good music, that’s all. I for one don’t even need the hifi, I tried it for one month sometime ago, and I didn’t even notice that much difference in the quality, and it consumed my monthly paid data subscription like crazy. So even if I decided to pay for this new deezer family price, I’d also need to increase my monthly data sub because the current one wouldn’t be able to keep up with the rate at which hifi audio quality consumes data. So THANKS BUT NO THANKS.
I have been a loyal customer of deezer for about 3 yrs now, and yes I mean loyal, because I started to use deezer when the price was about $4 (1,800 Naira) for a single premium account. And even though I knew that other services, spotify, apple music, and the likes charged half that price for their services, I still stuck with deezer, and was very pleased when they decreased the price to be equal with their competitors.
But then this, no this I can’t tolerate. The price hike is way too much, and it’s even worse for some other countries, like here in Nigeria. I’d even still be willing to stay if it was only a slight increase in the price, but this, NO. This is so unfair and disappointing really.
Got an email today. High Fidelity etc etc. I was lucky enough to scroll down far enough to see I’ll be charged an extra €3,- monthly.

This is way too much for many countries. From 4.99 to 10.99 EUR in Romania is crazy. We are not Germany or UK. Please change this, or you will lose all your customers from countries like mine.
The Irony when a Deezer subscription is more expensive than Netflix… Really obnoxious...
Been with Deezer since 2016, been paying for Php 129 or 2.38$, it jumped to 10.99$ which for me, no longer practical to pay. Bit sad and disappointed for the increase, I might switch to another streaming app because of this. Thank you for the 7 years, Deezer.
Happened to us in Malaysia as well bro. Sad. Has been loyal customer for many years. Decided to switch to their competitor.
Switched to Deezer from Spotify and now Deezer is increasing its monthly dues by 250% in Philippines…sad as I will cancel my subscription which now cost more than Netflix and return to Spotify
