Hello, I keep finding music saved to my favourites and playlists that I have not set up or even listened to and also saying someone is listening the same time as I'm using my account. I have tried resetting my password, logging in and out and still having these issues??

I’ve started seeing a lot of music on my recently played that I haven’t actually played let alone heard of anyone else had this problem?

Please check if your email was compromised by going to this site: https://haveibeenpwned.com
It's a great way to see if your email is in some database that was breached. This site only stores email and passwords, they don't want to hack your email, but only to provide information.
If you are not sure that your password is good enough, then go to the passwords section and type a password to see if it was breached or not.
As for the accounts that are having problems despite changing the passwords, there is a hack i think with an ARL token, but i'm sure, that the devs know about this vulnerability. :)


Hi! I have same issue today every 1-2 minutes. impossible to listen to music
I have changed the password via web browser. Shouldn’t all my other devices (iphone and ipad) be logged out when password changed? Because they were still logged in...

 


As a first step I suggest you will change your password by using the link below :

https://www.deezer.com/password/reset

Also follow the instructions below to check if any other old devices are registered with your account and remove them :

  1. Navigate to www.deezer.com
  2. Find your profile image in the upper right corner and click on it
  3. Choose "Account settings"
  4. Choose "My connected devices"
  5. Check if you have any old devices there . If you do , choose "Unpair"
  6. Try log in to your account in the relevant device again

I am experiencing an issue with someone else listening on my personal account. I have changed my password and disconnected all devices from my account. Even after doing this my account is still being used by someone who is not me. Is there anything you can do about it? I do not want to have to delete my account.

Hi, every time I try to use my Deezer I receive a message saying someone else is using it, which is strange in my account settings it shows only my phone link to my Deezer, I changed my password and my email and still it remains the same. Also my playlist has been tampered with, I need a solution ASAP. Thank you


Hi @Mutie I have killed session in all devices where the account could be open and I sent you a password request link to your email. Please click on the link and enter a new password.

I am experiencing the same problem. I have only one device logged in (the usual one) and have reinstalled the Deezer app and changed my password twice. This is extremely annoying!!

I have the same issue on a regular basis : after a few minutes, the error message pops up “someone must be listening on another device”.I’ve checked I am the only one listening.

also music/artists that I never listen to are constantly popping in my “favorite tracks” playlist.

in February I received an email with my top songs of the month : it was all wrong, I hadn’t been listening to these songs at all!

i don’t understand what I’m supposed to do to resolve this issue.

Hey @Danilerah I have made adjustments in your account to avoid this happening again. I also sent you an email with a password reset link. Please click on that link and proceed to reset your password one more time and login again to your account.

I have the same issue too.

Remove the other linked devices that i had no idea who they were, and reset my password.

Still getting someone lese is using my account on listen mode……

I have the same problem too.

i have noticed there is some music I’ve never listen before shown in my Recently played list.

I guess someone else stoled my account and is using it to listen this kind of music,

I’ve resetted my password today, 

I have two devices connected

@0sophie0 @james.bell01  Could you please check your accounts email address (the address that was Deezer created with) or the one that you logged in via Facebook, Apple or Google?


Go to this website and type in your email address https://haveibeenpwned.com ? It's a great website, which gathers data from data breach sources.


​If your address is in some database it will show you "Oh no — pwned!". If that's the case you should immediately change not just your Deezer accounts password, which @Jaime already did, but your email passwords too. You are in serious trouble, because hackers now have access to your email and accounts.

I changed my password, deleted all linked devices, re added my device and changed my password again and it seemed to work

i also added 2 factor authentication to my email address.

I checked everything and my previous Deezer password was unique to Deezer so not sure how my password was compromised. Are you going to implement 2 factor authentication for added security?

Hi jaime, I too have the same problem. I have changed both email address and password but I'm still having the same problem.  So frustrating. Please help!
