is this app a scam?

Ok so I signed up for a free trial of the premium deezer music app, and I used a prepaid card I knew was empty so that I wouldn't get recharged once the subscription was over (I do this bc Im not the best at remembering to cancel subscriptions), but this scam of an app went into my Google pay and accessed my debit card to pat the $122?!? Wth is up with this? And now they are refusing to refund me... like this has to be all sorts of illegal on deezer's part.
