Hello @jmevans55 thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, there's no tool to transfer playlists between profiles yet, but there is a workaround that will let you "copy" a music library from a Deezer account into another profile.

It's going to sound a little complicated but it's actually really simple, please follow the steps below:

Please follow these steps on a computer or laptop (not mobile phone or tablet, please):

1. Open the playlist you want to copy and make sure it’s set as “public”
2. Copy the URL link from the address bar on the top of the page
3. Log out from this profile, log into the other profile you want the content copied to
4. Paste the link you copied on the address bar at the top and you will see the playlist
5. To simply follow that playlist just open the playlist and click on the blue Heart to add it to your favourites.
6. To really transfer/copy the playlist, open the playlist and then tick the right box on top of all the titles, select + (add) and then "Add to playlist" and then "New Playlist" and name it as you wish, then "create"

It is quite sad the transfer function has not been implemented in two years.

We just moved from a Premium to a Family account, as the kids are growing up. Two now have mobilephones and requested the ability to download their own playlists, as we're on holidays. So, Family account was a must. Sadly, It's a still a hassle to transfer one playlist from one profile to another. And we didn't bring a laptop on our vacation to "ease" it out. And the kids are on mobile only.

The transfer function is something one would have thought to be straightforward in 2022. I know I don't know a thing about the code behind, though it just seems a fancy copy-paste of an indexed list.

I wonder why we're paying nearly 50 percent more without this supplementary function, that would allow a smooth move towards creating profiles.

So, we can share with the rest of the world... but not with our closest relatives…

Meanwhile, what you can do is to contact our Deezer Support Team and explain them which playlists you’d like to transfer from one profile to another and they will be able to help.

Hi, can i transfer playlist library from a profile to another in Deezer family plan?

I have more than 100 playlist and copy all single URL seems not to be the right way …

I’ve tried external application like ‘Freeyourmusic’ , but it’s not for free.
