I just registered for Deezer Family plan, we are from Canada and all live together.

Initially, I attempted to register my fam while we were vacationing in the USA, it was a disaster. All that is behind us and the registration while we were all together back in Canada went OK, however I was told by a Customer Service agent from Deezer that, as a Canadian family, if I were to travel to the USA, Deezer would outright stop working for us.

Is this true? does Deezer only work in the country you have been registered?

I am from Canada and have used Deezer around the world, including the USA with no issues.

Yeah just to chime in, I’ve been around EU,US, CAN with no issues using Deezer. Streaming always works but if you can I always recommend to download some music/podcasts offline just in case. 

Thanks for your reply, and I agree your advice is sound (no pun intended). I always have quite a bit of music downloaded as I always hate finding myself with no internet (usually if power goes out) and not having some music to get by
