Hi guys,

I've been using the free Deezer Premium subscription that was provided for Ukrainian accounts for about 4 years. I've actually had this account for more than 6 years in total.

Today I opened the app and noticed that my Premium subscription had been cancelled. I didn't receive any email or notification about this, and I can't find any information explaining why it happened. From what I understood, it was supposed to keep working.

Has anyone else experienced this recently or has any idea what might have happened? Is there anything I can do to restore it?

Hello, I am having the same problem. Literally yesterday everything was ok. And since today I am experiencing ads, notifications about getting subscription and in account settings I am seeing that I am using a free version. And like you, I didn't get any notice about subscription cancelation. Because of this I don't know if this a system error or they just decided silently to terminate the subscription... 

I am a user since 2016/2017. And their support meant a lot when they gave free premium subscription in 2022. It kinda was obvious that their free premium support would not last forever. But I kinda expected that they at least would inform us about changes

Hi, thanks for letting me know, it’s reassuring to hear that I’m not the only one experiencing this.

I’m currently trying to get some clarification from Deezer Support to find out whether this is a system error or if the free Premium access for Ukrainian accounts has actually been discontinued.

I would recommend contacting Deezer Support by email as well, so they can hopefully provide more information. I’ll share their response here once I hear back from them.

Hi, I have the same problem. 

But I received an email 5 minutes ago, that my subscription was cancelled.

But at the beginning of the day I was really surprised hearing ads in my app and being not allowed to listen my downloaded tracks.

Such is the support for Ukraine and Ukrainians. Music is almost the only thing that helped me survive the horrors of war every day. And then one day it was simply taken away, without warning.

I didn't find such information there. But the fact is that for Ukrainian users with old accounts, the Premium subscription has disappeared.

Ty for 4 years of free premium, which is what, around 200 bucks but it would've been nice to warn people in advance instead of rug pulling music away. To me it happened when I was in the middle of nowhere, with friends, 50 gb of pre-downnoaded music and barely working internet for few days. And it's not even a matter of money, it's a matter of decency. Fortunately I had a good chunk of my music stored both in deezer and as mp3. 

Maybe someone from Dezeer can respond on that matter .

Hello, could you please tell me how to get my free Premium for Ukrainians back? I thought that free premium for ukrainians was cancelled forever, so decided to start free trial of premium for one month. should i cancel this subscription or just let it be? thanks!
