You can use each profile only in one place each time, it was always like that, it’s not an issue. 

The best thing to do it’s to use one profile for you and one for her, or one profile for each device, than you can use each profile in a different diveces without any problem.

Imho Deezer is the most obliging streaming service for using one account at the same time on different systems. Especially Spotify has strict limits for this. 
With Deezer you can stream via the same account simultaneously on Sonos, a voice assistant like Alexa and an audio system like Sonos. Just using two streams at the same time on mobile devices, Desktop clients or as it seems on your car system is not possible. Most other services only alow one system in general.

Thanks for the reply. How do we sync our favorites to be the same on both accounts? Cause that is the whole issue here.

If you are using two different accounts, each one has got it’s own favorites and playlists. There is no way to sync content between different accounts. 
Only using the same account will offer the same pl and favorites for both of you. But using this account on different devices at the same time has the mentioned limits.
