How to keep screen on? (Windows 11)

How can Deezer prevent the screen from going to sleep when left unattended? (Deezer Desktop on Windows 11)

I listen to Deezer on my latop, connected to an external screen with embedded speakers. After a few minutes, Windows puts the screen to sleep and so does the playback on external speakers stops.

Other media players (i.e. VLC) are able to prevent the screen from going to sleep.

Hello @Seb31,

You can change the behaviour of your screen turning off by:

  1. Going into your Windows Settings (Press Windows + I)
  2. Choose System > Power & Sleep
  3. Settings to change

Change the Screen and Sleep options to Never (or to the maximum amount of time you need the PC to stay ON)

That should often do it, if not write back here. 😎

That might be something related to Deezer app itself ,

What happens if you are using the web player instead ?
