My Deezer Month - Now directly in the app

Your personal monthly music review directly in the Deezer app

The first week of every January, two things happen: we set ambitious New Year's resolutions to become better versions of ourselves - hit the gym, eat healthier and more - we also say goodbye to MyDeezerYear.

While most of us have forgotten our resolutions by the second week, many of us still crave a better way to track our music habits. Yet we’re left waiting another 11 months for the next MyDeezerYear…

But what if we could have a monthly shareable stats experience, with personalised insights, every month in our Deezer app?

What is My Deezer Month ?

It’s your personal music story - a monthly recap of your listening habits, helping you track your musical journey and see how your taste evolves throughout the year.
Just tap on your profile picture on your Mobile app (iOS, Android) and you’ll find My Deezer Month under it

Sharing is caring

For those feeling bold, you can share your personalised card with your friends - offering a fun new way to discover new artists and genres together.

What’s included in my stats?

To generate your monthly stats, you’ll need to have listened to at least 15 minutes of music during the month. Any track you stream for more than 30 seconds - whether online or offline (just make sure to reconnect to sync your offline listening history), will count toward your stats.

  • Total listening time
  • Your top 3 most-played genres
  • Your top 10 tracks
  • Your top 10 artists
  • Number of tracks played
  • Number of artists you've listened to
  • Your "Artist Crush" - the new artist you discovered and streamed the most during the month

👉 Ready to dive into your musical journey? Check out My Deezer Month and see where your taste takes you - share it with us!

I don’t use the app for music, only podcasts.

I liked the emails. I’ve filed them all away. Can we get the emails back please?

Nothing against the version in the app. Just wonder why all change has to involve taking things away?

The most recent stat I saw was that more than 75% of all deezer users listen to their music on a mobile device, with even more using the mobile app in some way.

So while I understand where you are coming from, businesses generally cater to the majority of their client base. So for most deezer users, this is a significant upgrade, and definitely not taking anything away.

My Deezer month includes artists that I've never played, heard of, nor even like.

As far as I know, the email with your April stats is still supposed to come a bit later. My Deezer Month email arrived on May 2nd, by the way, combined with the announcement of the new mobile feature.

Also the internal scrobbling option to Last.fm is still available in your Sharing Preferences where you can check your Deezer listening in your library. The graphical Last.month listening report is a Pro feature though while the current Last.week and Last.year reports are free, see mine as an example: hjbardenhagen’s month in music | Last.fm

Stop wasting time on nonsense like this, and instead 1) get flow to work correctly. I don’t need to hear 20 songs of the same genre, nor only the stuff in my favorite playlist. I though the idea is to get to know new music. 2) fix the app. Same issue as always with offline mode etc.

The data for this comes from listening only the phone or listening through browser also counts? Cause some days I mostly listen through the browser.
