  • I’m online.
  • I do run adblockers.
  • Its running fine otherwise, but this message shows up constantly so feels like it might be do some detection with analytics perhaps. I was able to see this message seem to popup right when the following entry was blocked.
Host
rec.deezer.com

Status
14:42:34.024 Request blocked.

DNS event type
A

DNS status
REFUSED

Rules
||rec.deezer.com^ (AdGuard DNS filter)

Data type
DNS

Start time
14:42:34.023

Time
0 ms

edit 1: unblocked that specific dns request and so far no error message, will keep watching. If that’s the case then this subdomain being requested might be the problem.

edit 2: it’s still happening. trying other domains that come up, no results so far. Disabling adblock altogether to see. Not sure what the online/offline detection is based on, since I know it’s working otherwise.

Hi @ReticulatorOfSplines,

The error you describe, you already are over half-way to solving it. It is indeed caused by ad and tracker blockers.

You may want to whitelist Deezer and your issue should disappear.

P.S: Not all trackers mean harm some like ones that run on Deezer are necessary to ensuring you have the best experience with the service.

I’ve tried disabling the adblocker entirely and the problem still occurs.

It’s random and spikes on and off constantly making it very annoying.

Can you open a support case on this and see if someone can check in on why this is happening?

Here’s a link to reproduce the exact behavior.

Seems to be triggered when the next song is being pulled and despite being online some check is failing and forcing this to keep popping up every time.

I’m running Deezer standalone app version 7.0.20 -- how do I disable the adblocker?

Hi @Fernando.Troya this article from our support page might help: https://support.deezer.com/hc/en-gb/articles/207075869-AdBlock

Hi @Jaime.Deezer, thanks for your input. I’m actually running the standalone version of deezer. I’m not running it from a browser but the standalone version for MacOs.
