I ran into that problem, that I can't play my uploaded mp3s on my Android TV. However I placed them into playlists, they don't appear. Is there any solution for that?

I had the same problem. I uploaded some MP3s and added them to playlists, but they didn’t show up or play on my Android TV. Super frustrating.
From what I found, the YouTube Music app on TV doesn’t really support uploaded songs like it does on the phone. What I ended up doing was casting the music from my phone to the TV, and that worked fine.
I also tried an app called Plex—it let me play my own music files directly on the TV. Took a little setup, but it worked way better.
