I am trialing Hifi subscription. I am unable to login to Deezer through Onkyo NR-646 amplifier. This is an amp that is supported by Deezer. However it doesn’t let me login. I keep getting an error message “Your details are incorrect, please try again.” I have upgraded Onkyo amp to the latest firmware. Yet no luck. Please note that I am able to login to Deezer web and IOS App with the same credentials.

I can’t login on my receiver Onkyo, because i have just one way to login by email. But i registered by google account, and i can’t change method of autentification in my profile. Please help.

Hi there @MrSimplyDreamer

Thanks for reaching out. Don't worry, I've had a look at your account, unlinked your Google login and sent you a password reset email. Please check your inbox, change the pass and try to log in directly. Let me know if you need further help

Sorry, but i don’t see password reset mail.

Please help me. I don’t see password reset mail.

Hello @MrSimplyDreamer sorry, I had to unlink your Deezer account from Google+ again.

Please do not click on Google when you login, only login with your Deezer email address.

I just sent another password reset email to you. Please simply reset your password and then try to log in with your Onkyo App again. Thank you

I'm a new user with Deezer and am experiencing the same problem with my TX-NR636. I can't login and instead get this message:

“Connection Error. The server connection could not be established or was terminated early. Please try again later.”

I've updated the firmware to the most recent update. All other NET apps function normally, and I'm able to login successfully using other devices.

Hello. Can't login to Onkyo TX-NR535. Check FAQ but there is no answer to previous question about device. Is possible to log in ?

Thx

Thanks for reporting it @zummy @slaneymark

We'll be looking into this, it could be that our API isn't ready for the new firmware update you've had. @zummy have you updated your firmware too? Please post your versions here - a factory reset and a router restart could help :thumbsup_tone2:

Hello,

i can’t log in to Onkyo TX NR535.

The firmware is up to date.

Hi all,

I’m hoping for any information about this problem.

I am unable to login to Deezer on my Onkyo DP-S1 DAP.

The DAP is running 1.30 software and being used in Japan.

I am trying to login with my deezer free account. If it works I might upgrade to the Hifi plan.

But there appears to be some issue with logging in.

Can anyone help with this issue?

Thanks!

If there is no way to login for me then I guess I cant use this service.

:(

Hi there @yimmyme

I've moved your comments here for added help. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Could you please try restarting your network router and Onkyo device to see if it helps?

Thanks! Hoping someone can help

I have restarted my router etc.

I also tried with several different networks.

Nothing helps.

Any firmware updates @yimmyme?

Have you tried resetting the Onkyo to factory settings?

Any firmware updates @yimmyme?

Have you tried resetting the Onkyo to factory settings?

I opted into the Hifi subscription and then it worked.

It appears that with this device you can’t login when using a free account!

:)

Thanks a lot for letting us know @yimmyme :relaxed: and obviously for subscribing!

Stay tuned during the course of this year, we have connectivity and player improvements on the plans which will improve your experience listening on Deezer

Hi evebody! Please help! I have a such problem with my Onkyo TX-8130. I can’t solve the problem on my own. Updated the software Onkyo, reinstal Onkyo remote, nothing helps ☹️ is there an effective algorithm to fix the connection problem? I will be grateful for any useful advice!!!

Hi,

Since some weeks my TX-NR545 fails connecting to Deezer. Others NET apps work well.

Message is "Erreur de connexion. La connexion au serveur a échoué ou a été stoppée. Merci de réessayer plus tard"

The firmware is up to date. A reset to factory settings from the Menu does not help. Deezer password has been changed. Not better.

The device is not listed (anymore ?) in the known devices inside my Deezer account. Maybe that is an issue : does Deezer need to approve such a connexion ?

Please can you advise ?

Complement of tests :

If i hard reset to factory default (long pressing CBL/SAT + Power), i get access back to the Onkyo interface allowing to set the Deezer credentials.

Connection fails, saying : "Vos identifiants sont incorrects. Merci de réessayer."

But my credentials are correct, i did check through the Deezer web page and android app.

Note: i also see that Deezer forum uses a SSO connection webpage... Is it relatively new and prevents such Onkyo devices working correctly ? especially if coupled to double authentication, that for sure Onkyo does not implement.

Would we need Deezer to generate unique device application password for such cases ?

Best regards
