Track Skipping Problem

Just a couple of days Deezer HIFI subscriber here. So far I like it but...my issue right now is - the desktop app is misbehaving - it skips numerous track(s) anywhere in the playlist every now and then, and this is not right!

Just now, I did increased the cache to the max - 10gb. Let's see how this helps.

Anybody have/had this issue and what's the fix that works?

Cheers!

@HiFiG I'm happy to pass this on to the devs. It's just that I don't have any issues on my Wifi. If there are more cases like yours I will pass them on as well so that our devs are able to reproduce the issue 🙂 Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Hi @HiFiG, I haven't noticed any problems. Have you tried to lower the quality in the app to check if you have the same issue?

Thanks for the suggestion Anja but that's not an option, I have 75mbps and can stream 4k no sweat. I read many cases of this problem online so I guess it's not an isolated case. At the moment, i'm went to Tidal and have no problem at the highest sub. plan set to Master Quality.

I might give you a try again with you sort out things. Your app is on beta stage and I know you can.Just don't ignore your customers...

Keep it up!

It seems that some FLAC files are actually broken and cannot be played with the HiFi settings. If you set the audio quality lower than that for those broken tracks, you might be able to play them nevertheless. Furthermore you should name them here if you can reproduce the problem.

I select a song to play on the browser. Deezer starts skipping songs extremely fast as if i had the tab or pgup pressed. The time stays at 00:00:00 / 00:00:00 at all moments and no song plays. I tried on two browsers and had the same issue. But if I log out of my account it does play the tracks.

Hello @dhid95 sorry for the late reply, we currently have to process a lot of requests. In our system I can see that your payment for Hifi was refunded and you used the Deezer Free Version for the last days.

I just re-activated the Premium trial for you 🙂

Please let me know if you are still experiencing the same technical issue and I can help you fix it.

Hi there @dhid95

Have you tried clearing the browser's cache for example? I've also sent you a password reset email. Please change your password and login directly with email, not FB. And let me know if it helps 👍🏼

Hey @dhid95

I've cleared your user cache on our side, please check if it helps. Is this also happening when you're using your Android device?
