Your customers are people who love music, people who are music nerds, why otherwise they pay more than for spotify to get higher audio quality, your interface has to reflect that! And have less bugs of course!

My mean reason to choose Deezer over Tidal was the ability to chache songs in CD Quality. Well...not much use if the Desktop app SUCKS (at least on Mac)!

It especially sucks when you are offline

-my listening history was not saved when I was offline

-the playlist search function did not work in downloades!!!! WHAT?

-it is really hard to add anything to a playlist, the option is only available in some submenus but not all the time

-play next does not work often

-deleting something from the queue sometimes results in that song being played, WHAT?

Generally, it is already a big miss that you

-cannot create folders of playlists, WHY???

-do not see your own playlists as a list in the left menu, WHY PLEASE WHY?

But if the SEARCH function does not work either when offline, do you realise what a pain in the ass it is to navigate between playlists??? Not to mention that I have to remember which songs are in which playlist?

Moreover,

guys your interface INSIDE a paylist is better than spotify’s to arrange songs, lovely BUT I have to refresh 3 times, close and open the playlist again, until a change in the order of songs takes effect, WHAT???

I know your dev team is smaller than Spotify’s, keep up the good work (your iOS app is pretty good!), in general I love the whole idea what you’re doing, BUT please improve the playlist navigation and remove the mac desktop bugs, it is unrealistic to expect that any music lover can stand this for much longer.

Hello @Moritz7,

Some of the issues you are describing might be solved just by updating the app, so please try this first.

However, you are right, the desktop app works as a mere mirror of the website (but with downloads).

There is an ongoing discussion on the improvements of the desktop app, I will definetly pass your feedback on, thanks for sharing with us!
