So, I was spending whole day with Deezer Desktop App yesterday at work. Later, then I left my workplace I wanted continue with Deezer on my iPhone. And what do you think? Yes, queue was empty again.😟
Hi @jirikovoego In order to provide all the necessary information to our devs. Could you please let me know the steps you are following in order to test on our side? (i.e: Do you launch the mobile app, before closing the computer at work?, etc). Thanks
Hi @jirikovoego! I’ve reported this issue to our developers, and they’ve mentioned that the technical migration updates are expected to be fully rolled out by the end of Q1.
Once those updates are complete, this bug might be resolved as part of the changes.
Considering how buggy this feature has been, I think it would behoove the Deezer development team to make a comprehensive document as to how it works. I think a lot of the issues may be what people are expecting being different than what is actually implemented.
How does it work with the following sync environments:
Deezer Windows app ⇄ Android
Deezer Windows app ⇄ iPhone
Deezer web app ⇄ Android
Deezer web app ⇄ Deezer Windows app
Etc.
Does it matter which one is actively playing? Will one override another in certain circumstances? Will it prompt the user whether they want to sync or not?
And could we get a hard confirmation on when it will be implemented, or at least confirmation that it hasn’t yet been implemented. If it hasn’t been implemented, the developers won’t be inundated with bugs they know exist.
And is this related to Deezer Connect or is it something else?
Right now my desktop is playing one playlist and my Android is playing another one, except, even though it’s playing what is on the desktop’s queue, the Android has the visuals of another playlist.
Like even though it’s playing Track A, on my phone Track B’s info is displayed. But when the next track comes up, both the desktop and the phone go to the next song on the queue, but the Android’s the next song… on the wrong queue.
