My Polk Audio Google assist speaker used to play Deezer songs with my voice command for a couple years and all of a sudden it stopped working.  I unplugged it and moved into another room for a couple hours where I wanted to hear music but couldn’t get it to start playing. After returning the device back to the original room, it’s still not working and I tried factory resetting the device to no avail.

 

I read a thread that Deezer was having a problem doing Google casting but I don’t know if this is related.

I also have a Google home mini hooked up to the same account in another room and it’s working fine

Yes, we are investigating this issue, can you please answer these questions: 

  • Brand and Model of the device where you can't cast
  • If possible screenshot of error message
  • Was it working before? Did you notice that stopped working after some update from OS, Deezer app or firmware of the device?
  • Deezer version, OS version
  • Is it Chromecast external device or Chromecast built-in
  • In case it is built-in what version it is: V1,V2,V3
