No sound on desktop app macos 13.5 with USB DAC

Deezer Version 5.30.610 (5.30.610.179)

Mac os Ventura Version 13.5

I have a HiFi subscription and the Deezer app works fine when I use my Macbook speakers(or airpods), but as soon as I connect a USB DAC, deezer stops playing sound, although it shows that it is playing on the UI...
All other programs work fine (spotify, discord, google chrome, plex)

I restarted deezer several times, restarted the laptop, nothing...

However, I can listen from deezer using the web version, not as great an experience as on the desktop, but ...

It seems to be a problem with the app, hopefully it will be fixed soon :(

Hello @Dan 5h thanks for sharing this question with us.

Unfortunately, the app doesn’t support this kind of connection, so that is why you don’t get sound. It’s that the only way you can connect your laptop to that DAC? No audio cable?

The workaround as you already found is to play from the web-browser that indeed it is not the exactly same experience, but you can still get the Hi-Fi quality.

Hope that can work for you. Take care

thanks for the answer!
I have an audio cable, but my laptop will not provide the same quality as a HiFi DAC.
In the future I will have to use the web player.
I hope this feature will appear sometime in the future.

thank you for your hard work!
