Yes, i am having this issue too and have noticed it for the first time this morning. My WXA-50 is connected to my network and i can log into Deezer on other devices that dont use MusicCast, but trying to log in via the musicCast app i get a ‘unable to register your system’ error message.
I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app (per solution for an earlier thread which seemed to have the same issue) but unfortunately this didn't help either.
What I did :
- Rebooted the rooter
- Forced a firmware upgrade of the amplifier
Still does not work
Same message : unable to register your system

Hi, mine is working again today, i haven't changed anything to achieve that, just turned on this morning and it worked via the Musiccast app again. I’m on V 5.3 of the Yamaha Musicast app, this interfaces with the deezer back end so I’ve no idea what version it would be on, but i dont think it updated between today and yesterday. I did power my WXA-50 off at the mains last night, so perhaps a power cycle did the trick?
Hi, sorry for the late response, but I checked yesterday, and both Web Radios and Deezer were back on my Yamaha RN803D.
As for MusicCast app, I always have the latest version on my phone, it’s the one from the 28th of December 2022.
So seeing the various issues (Deezer + Web Radios not working), what I did, and how it resolved, I’d say Yamaha did something wrong on its servers and fixed it.
Sorry, don’t think it had nothing to do with Deezer.
Deezer not working was most probably just a side effect
