MP3 search not working on Deezer Web Player

I uploaded my MP3 files to deezer.
Its strange that i need to remake the albums as playlists.

But i also can’t use the search there?
I type in the search and nothing happens.

Am i doing something wrong?

    Search on Deezer does not show MP3’s.

    Only making them to a playlist may make them searchable from that playlist.

    It's just that the development work has to be weighed against other priorities here. But it makes complete sense and we're aware of that. Thank you for your feedback! :wink:

      I found a workaround to this silly problem. I made a playlist out of all of my 400+ mp3 and from there I can sort them and search in the playlist to put them in other playlists. Hope it helps someone else!

        This doesn’t work for me. 

         

        Here’s what I did:

        1. Created a Playlist My MP3s.
        2. Added a few uploaded songs manually. (Apparently, you have to do this one-by-one.) 
        3. Searched for one of the songs in the search bar. Not found. I waited 10 minutes and tried again. Same thing.

         

        Added a few uploaded MP3s to a playlist. Oops, added some twice.

         

        Then:

        Searching for “personne” found everything but the song in my playlist

          Okay. That doesn’t seem very useful. I’ll wait until Deezer figures this out to rejoin.

            @Rudi , ouch. Seeing that Deezer supported uploads is what made me pick it over Tidal, but now I’m having second thoughts since it seems for all practical purposes I need to play my own music from a different app anyhow. :/

            Hi @newprotagonist 

            Mp3’s uploaded to Deezer are personal so other users are not able to see them/play them as it happens with the playlists,

            I guess that if you are listening to your own music from a different platform, you would need to upload it to Deezer to be able to listen it on the app,
