MP3 search not working on Deezer Web Player

Nothing wrong here, our search only finds our catalogue of music - your uploaded MP3s have to be found manually. I'll forward your reply to our devs so that they know this would be appreciated as a feature

I popped in because I had this same question….I figured there was some bug with my browser or plugin or something….. but seriously? Search doesn’t work on uploaded mp3s? :)

You can’t even sort uploaded mp3s?  I think I’ve been backing the wrong horse with Deezer as my new home after Google Play Music.  Sorting and searching seem like such basic features for a streaming service…..10 years ago.

Thanks for the review, @Mummu you can sort them, yes. When you access them via your favourites > my MP3s 

The searching bit is because only our catalogue is indexed in the search, your MP3s are only available to you. But it's a good feature to have on the app, that's for sure 

I join the request to enable the function of searching songs among my mp3s and to allow soroting of this music.

It could be useful, indeed. It hasn’t crossed my mind before this is so much needed.

As Google Music refugee myself I’d say this is fine function to have.

Deezer is not perfect, but I am still on Premium. Right now it seems to be the best for me despite of these little nuances which does not work well or does not provide what I exactly want from apps.

I also vote for this. It is really frustrating. I’m trying to add some music from my folders and I want to prevent duplicity.

Yes, please make uploaded music sort, search, and group (by artist and album) just like the Deezer music catalog. 

The ability to upload MP3s is made almost pointless as currently implemented (as in it doesn’t even meet the definition of a minimum viable product, IMO).

I’m on Spotify now. I can’t upload there at all. The ability to upload and meaningfully use my music there would make me switch. Until then, there’s no compelling reason to move.

It’s probably worth mentioning that I had signed up for (i.e. paid for) Deezer, then cancelled when I discovered how hobbled the support for uploaded music is. If Deezer provides fully-integrated support for uploaded music, I’ll gladly return to Deezer.

The product folks must know that there’s only one other music service (YouTube Music) that allows uploads, so this seems like a great differentiating feature for Deezer.
