HomePod account disconnects daily

hi!

I use the “connect with HomePod” feature to link Deezer with my HomePod. This usually works, though I have to repeat the process sometimes before the HomePod natively starts playing Deezer (without playing from my iPhone).

However, after a day or so, the connection is lost and the HomePod tells me to go to the Deezer app and add it to my home.

Not sure if this is a Deezer bug or a problem in Apple’s implementation.

Does anybody have any advice on how to solve this problem?

Have you tried to set Deezer as your primary service in your Home Pod?

  • Go back to the Apple Home app - Home Settings - Your user profile.
  • Under ‘Connected Media’, make sure Deezer is toggled on.
  • Tap ‘Preferred Service’ and switch it to Deezer.
