Echo Dot (Alexa) - Deezer is not currently supported in your region

it is supported but Alexa isn’t, but there is a work around, if you change your location on Amazon then you can use Deezer, alexa, and sonos, all in the region seamlessly. the only down side is if you then ask alexa about weather or traffic it wont know via your location services.

3 years on and this is still an issue.  What does Deezer plan to do about this, if ever?

I used the Deezer with Alexa for years with no problem, but this morning I got “Deezer is not supported in your region”. I live in Czechia. Can some Deezer staff check it?

Czechia does not show as an available country.

Hi @GropplerZorn, if you checked old version of this page, Czechia was mentioned there. I’ve never been informed by Deezer about any changes. Anyway, a week ago everything worked fine.

I’m not able to re-add it, because You are not eligible to enable this skill due to geographical restrictions. BTW, Spotify’s one has the same message, but works.

My question for Deezer staff: Is this some temporary issue, or it’s correct?

I was able to confirm that the current support page is accurate, and that Alexa for Deezer is available in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Other subscribers, as you’ve seen above in this thread, have used workarounds such as changing their skills region to a supported country to be able to use Alexa for Deezer.

We don't have:

Alexa access

Local music editor

Important podcast in my language are missing

No radio stations in Deezer

But pay the same price as other users. Little bit unfair seems to me 🤔
